Have Windows Home Vista on a recent DELL laptop (1 mth old). Email had been
working fine from Windows Mail then one message became undeleteable and I
could no longer send or receive messages to / from the "stuck" email.
Downloaded patch, was able to clear the stuck email but still can't send to
that email address. I keep getting the following error being generated bt
McAfee though I have made no changes to McAffee:
"Email scanning encountered a problem: This email message cannot be sent.
After you verify the format of your recipient address, McAfee recommends that
you resend those messages from your email program.
Command sent: RCPT to: <the (e-mail address removed)>
Command received: 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed
rcpthosts (5.7.1)"
Have reset McAfee settings to default just in case, but no good.
Also made sure this address and a few others also affected are set to
friends / allowed in Windows Mail. Still no good. Hwver I can still send mail
/ reply to many email address. Would really appreciate any help / suggestions
you may have. Thanks.
