email has been working fine, now i keep getting error
The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'test 11/19/09', Account:
'mail.dayusinc.com', Server: 'mail.dayusinc.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I tried changing the port to 587 from(25) but still get an error, can anyone
help with this

Please post the error you get with port 587 (instead of 25).

When that error occurs, are you sending from home, or are you
on a laptop away from home?

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject 'Inv#
please', Account: 'business mail', Server: 'mail.dayusinc.com', Protocol:
SMTP, Server Response: '550 Relaying not allowed', Port: 587, Secure(SSL):
No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC78
I am sending from home

Thanks for including the complete error message. It makes
troubleshooting so much easier.
Make sure you have send authentication enabled, since it is
required with the use of port 587.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Servers.
Enable the "My server requires authentication" option.
