Do you have a message in the Outbox with a < somewhere in the
email address? If so, try deleting it.

If you have other messages building up in the Outbox, download
and install this fix, with Windows Mail not running:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also
works in other folders. If you don't know whether to use the
32-bit version or the 64-bit version, try the 32-bit version
first. Certain common antivirus programs, such as most of
those from Norton or McAfee, or a recent one from Trend,
tend to cause various problems in Windows Mail, although
seldom immediately. If you plan to keep Norton, remember
where to find the fix - you may need it again.

Open the message in the Preview pane or it's own window and press Ctrl-F3.
Look at each header line for an address like <name @ isp.net> without the
final '>'. Note I had to put spaces around the '@'.

Ahhh! Help! When sending and receiving emails error ox800cc69 pops up??
Checked all settings correct, server of no help, stating its a microsoft
problem. Any assistance would be highly appreciated by this
grandmother...Bless you.

That's not enough information. Right-click on the error message, copy,
then paste it into a reply here. We need to see all that diagnostic information.

Ran the fix ....All is working now...THANKS!
