can't send e-mail

For the past couple of days I can receive but not send e-mail. I'm using OE6,
Att&t yahoo. When I try to send an e-mail, it takes a very long time and
eventually times out. Whether this has something to do with it or not, I also
cannot completely turn off the pop-up window blocker. (When I was trying to
post this message, there was a pop-up window blocker, but I just read if I
hold down Ctrl, it will work - it did.) I spend over two hours with 3 tech
support persons from Att&t last evening and they weren't able to help me.

Go to OE/Tools menu, Accounts, and delete your email account, then rebuild
it. If no help, you can try creating a new Identity, andf create the account
there. (File menu, Identities, New) If that works, you can Import the old
identity's mail.

Disable e-mail scanning, especially for outbound mails, in your
anti-virus program. Retest.
