I recently got wild blue satelite internet services and am unable to send
e-mail, but I do receive e-mails ok. Socket Error 10060 is the message I get.
i have talked to wild blue techs and they said to contact you.

You should sack them for incompetence.
The idea that they would delegate their paying
customers to a public voluntary forum is outrageous.

What are you account settings?

See if this helps:

1. Go to the Vista start menu and type cmd
2. The search results will display a program titled cmd
3. Right-click on the link and select "Run as administrator"
4. type "netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled" without
the quotatioin marks
5. Test your POP account and see if you can now download your mail.
6. If nothing changes, reenable the autotuning feature by typing
"netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=normal"

Also verify with the ISP that you have the correct server settings and port
number.
