Hi,
hope you can help. My problem is, I can't seem to find my
systems tool icon or program. I've tried everything,
including the search feature and also have used my xp cd
to re install it and have no luck. Without it I can't
clean my temp internet folder or optimized my system.
Where did it go?please help

Hi Jeff,

An effective, alternate method of finding them (in a consolidated place), is
by click "Help and Support", off the Start Menu.
One the right, under "Pick a task", you will find a Tools link....

But even if you do not see that link... you can put "system tools" in the
search field of "Help and Support", then simply select the correct link on
the left.

Should be under start menu \program files \ accessories. At any rate,
System Tools is only a folder with shortcuts. You can get to the clean
manager via
RUN
cleanmgr

Temporary internet files can also be deleted via control panel \
internet options \ delete files (delete the offline content while
you're at it).

When you use Search, it's best to go for the "advanced options" as
well, like subfolders and system folders. With earlier forms of
Windows, this was automatic.
