Dave

I am using Win2K Pro and looking at the Temporary Internet
Files. WHen I look in there I do not see any files
although it tells me there are lots when I check in the
properties of the folders they reside in. I have gone to
the View menu and turned all the special menus on. I can
see the properties of other files and folders including
the file extensions. I am wondering why I cannot see the
actual files in the Temporary Internet section of a users
profile.

Can you help please?
Thanks!
Dave

Hi Dave:

If I understand correctly, you are trying to look at the Temporary Internet
Files of another user while you are not logged on as that user. If that's
the case, then the behavior you are seeing is expected; and is documented
here:

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=175885

FWIW - if your user account has the rights to do so, you should be able to
view other users Temporary Internet Files from a cmd prompt.
