Can't see pics in a form.

I have created a standard table and a form based on that table with one of
the fields being an OLEObject. I want to use this field to display pics on a
form. On the form, I right click my OLE control, navigate to the pic file I
want and insert it. However, I only see the name of the file and can only
view the pic by dcing it and then the Windows Picture/Fax Viewer comes up.
How can I see the pic on my form? Is my version of Access messed up? I have
reinstalled it once.

Also, how can I automate the process of inserting a pic with a button? Any
code help on this?

That didn't really work. I would like to use both jpg and gifs, not just
bmps. I've done this on a friend's 'puter who has the same version and it
works when I insert a pic. I thought I had goofed up a setting in Access or
something.
