I can access the internet, and email, and print over the
network. I can ping other computers from the command
pronpt, but I cannot see the network in Network
Neighborhood. Any ideas?

Hello,

Are the computers part of the same workgroup?
Do you have file and print sharing installed on all computers?

The first thing to do is to make sure that you
have checked "enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP"
in the TCP/IP advanced properties on all
the computers on your local network. (This
is on the "WINS" tab I think.)

Also, make sure that the workgroup name
is the same on all computers, and that if
you have "personal firewall" software that
it is configured to allow access from the LAN.

The above things will fix 95% of this problem.

Other things to check are that the computer
browser service is starting, and that NetBIOS
is bound to TCP/IP -- in very few cases will
these be the problem.
