I'd like to use Remote Desktop to administer our Server 2003 server,
which is running a couple LocalServer apps, e.g., a mail server. When
I remotely log in as the administrator I don't have access to these,
which do show up normally when I'm at the actual server logged in as
the same administrator user. Anybody know how I can solve this
problem?

Thanks
Gordon

If God hadn't meant for us to eat animals, why did He make them out of meat?

Logon using the /console switch which connects you to session "0" so you'll see the same thing as you do when physically logging on at the server console.

You need Remote Desktop Client 5.1 or higher to do this, then do:
Start -> Run -> "mstsc /console"

Thank you. Worked perfectly.
