Can't see host computer files in my Network places

I've established a LPT1 direct connection betwen 2
computers running XP. I open the "My Network places" in
the guest computer but cannot see the host computer
files. I've allowed folder sharing in the host
computer. What's wrong?

Since you are running XP, I would have to assume you have a NIC of some sort
already installed. Get a Cat 5 crossover cable and go to the follwoing
