Hi. Our Win 2000 server, running File Server for Macintosh, has a shared
folder that Mac users connect to via Appletalk. Several folders that were
added recently cannot be seen from the Mac, unless they use the Dave client.
Most of the folders are visible, only recent ones are not. This is not a
permissions issue, when the Mac users connect with a pc they see everything.
Also, when I move these folders to a 2000 server in another location, they
can see them.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Does this hapen even after a reboot of the server?

You may need to force a rebuild of the volume information (instructions
recently posted here or on the microsoft.public.macintosh.general NG, can't
remember exactly) if the reboot does not rebuild the volume information
properly.

I tried rebooting the server, that didn't work. I ended up removing
Appletalk from the Win2k server, reinstalling, and that worked. Thanks for
your help.
