Can't see flash drive

I put in my Flash drive & Xp Pro can't recongise it.
I tried it in another PC & it works fine.
Why wont my PC see it,it does see another Flash drive i have.

When you plugged it in, did your machine do anything at all...
such as ask to install drivers?

Go ito device manager and then plug the flash drive in. Does it appear as
an unknown device? If so uninstall the unknown device and then try it
again.

Remove other USB things and try again.
