Cant see fields in a table on access

I have a access dateabse and some how I cant get ot see a
fiels in one of the tables but I know the field exists
because onthe front end application I can see the data
from that field I did the hide and un-hide options but I
cant get the fiels .... any clues ?
 
Where are you looking for the field - in design view of the table, or
datasheet view. If the latter, perhaps the column is hidden.

Where do you see it in the frontend - a query/form/report? Is it possible
that what you see is in fact a calculated column and not in the table at
all?

More details please.
 
I see the infomation on a form and no it cant be
calculated as it is company names that I am talking about.
I can nithre see the field in the design view nor can I
see it in the datasheet view

If you can't see it in design view of the table, then it isn't there.

Is there a CompanyID field in design view of the table? If so check the
lookup tab when you are on that field in design view. Perhaps someone used
the lookup wizard on the table.

Failing that, I'd suggest you open the form in design view and examine the
properties of the control that's showing the company name.
