I have purchased a USB 2 Icecube Hard drive enclosure (Macpower). I have
installed a brand new WD120GB drive in it and run XP on a well endowed PC.
Jumper settings on drive set to Master. Device Manager indicates enclosure
and drive to be present, working and enabled, with MS drivers. Locations
specified as 0 and 0(0) for Icecube and drive respectively - doesn't mean
much to me. The Icecube manual (I've done everythiing I've been told!)
states that the drive should appear on My Computer, but it is not visible.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. BTW I'm a PC novice (this is my
first ever post!) Thanks,

Sven

You need to partition and format it in "Administrative Tools / Computer
Management / Disk Management" first.

Have you partitioned and formatted the drive?
