Can't See Applets

I was reading a thread on stationery applets and eots. I have
just purchased a laptop with Windows Vista on it, therefore, I am forced to
use Windows Mail. I cannot see applets or eots in my stationery groups. I
have the latest version of Sun Java installed. When I click on an applet
to open it, I
get a message to install an addon in IE. However, when I click the install,
Windows will not allow it to insall. Really hope someone is able to help me
work this one out.

I'm about to kill-file him. He is replying to random threads, so I don't
think he has a genuine issue.
