I followed the following directions and my address bar is
still not on my screen:

Problem: Address Bar and Status Bar Are Not Displayed in
Windows Explorer
The information in this article applies to:
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition

This article was previously published under Q283280
SYMPTOMS
In Windows Explorer, the address bar and status bar are
not displayed. In earlier versions of Windows, these
features are displayed by default.
RESOLUTION
To enable the address bar, click Toolbars on the View
menu, and then click Address bar. To enable the status
bar, click Status Bar on the View menu.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.

Hope you are not in full screen mode. Press F11 to return
to normal mode.

Confirm these default Registry entries exist:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Main]
"Show_ToolBar"="yes"
"Show_URLinStatusBar"="yes"
"Show_URLToolBar"="yes"

Right click the toolbar/s you have and make sure all options are enabled.

If that doesn't work, try sliding around the toolbars you have to see if the
missing one is 'stuck behind' (make sure your toolbars are unlocked in later
versions of IE)

Deleting the following registry key may help as a last resort:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebB

Thanks Sandi,

Got it.

I did not have links and zipclix checked when you right
click the tool bar.

:o)
