can't search WordPerfect documents

The universal search and find function in my Windows
software will not find any text in a WordPerfect file. Is
there any remedy to this problem?
 
I don't know for sure, but I don't think Windows Search Files and Folders
can read a .wpd document. Now if you have Word Perfect installed that might
be another story.

What version of WordPerfect are you using? WordPerfect has its
own facility for doing this (at least WP11 does; I'm not sure
about older versions).
