I can't save word 2003 files to a cd, I have no trouble
saving excel and access files but word will not copy, is
there a setting in word that needs to be changed? The
burning software loaded on the burner is Sonic DVD, is
there a conflict here?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Bill,

You should not try and save Word files directly to a CD. Save them first to
a Hard Disk and then using Windows Explorer or a CD burner program, copy
them to the CD>

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.
Hope this helps

The 'conflict' is in the way Word handles temporary files. As Doug has
indicated, you should save to the hard drive and copy to CD.
