can't save to cd

I am very new to this but have figured out everything except how to save to a cd for viewing on tv. It says it could not find a recordable cd drive and asks if I want to save it to my hard drive instead. This is the only program so far that I have been able to save my pics, video and music on the same file. Now I can't record it on my cd. Could someone please help!?
 
The movie maker 2 feature for saving to CD creates a CD suitable for viewing
on PC's -- These CD's will *not* playback in a conventional DVD player.

To create a DVD or VCD that can play in a conventional DVD player using 3rd
party VCD or DVD buring software is required.
