Can't save the movie

Dear all,

I am having a problem with saving the movie file. It doesn't do anything
after I click on 'save to computer', 'burn to cd' or ' save for web'. When I
try to save it to my computer I get a message after a while saying it can't
be saved and that I should check whether the files are still in place,
there's enough space and that the destination folder is still available.
Everything is ok and in place however, but still it doesn't want to save.

It's about 43 MB, but I have 16 GB left on my drive, so that can't be the
problem.
When I try to save for web, it's even reduced to 13 MB, but still nothing.
The destination drive has not changed.
The files are still where they were when making the movie.
I have the latest version of Windows Movie Maker.

I am getting quite frustrated here as all I have now is the project file and
I can't turn it into a movie and I made it for a friend who's got some
emotional problems, so I would really like to get it into movie format!

Can somebody help? What's wrong? This is the first time it's doing this.
Thanks in advance,
Denise
