Hello. If anyone can help me with this... I will be very glad!

I have a USB storing device. In swedish we call it a pocket memory (dont
know the proper english term). I seem to have managed to lock it in
some way, i must have been thinking about security at some point.

Now my problem is that I cant use it, since it wont allow me to storage
anything
on it. The only thing I´m allowed to do is to "download" the files that is
allready on the storage device.

How do I "lock it up"? I hav´nt got a clue. Been trying now for hours with
different methods in explorer, but with no result.

Very happy if I get any advice, what so ever!

Have a nice day.

On one of my memory sticks there is a very small switch that locks the
stick, examine yours well, if it has a switch then it may be in the
locked position.

Hi Greenie!

Thank you for your reply. Im affraid my storage devise has no such physical
lock. I think I have "write-protected" it in windows in some way, and I cant
figure out how to undo it.

Thanx again!

If it's write protected, just open My Computer and look in Properties for
the usb drive, you can un-check the Read only box.
