When I try to save my video I get this message:

Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify
that the original source files used in your movie are still available(which
they are), that the saving location is still available(it is), and that there
is enough disk space available, and then try again(there is tons).

I don't get why it isn't saving. My pal's works fine. Only difference he has
WMM 2.1, I have 2.0 but cannot update it(I do not get the option to in the
windows updates and I have SP2).

Maybe the following links will offer some ideas:

If you have installed WinXP SP2 and do not
have Movie Maker 2.1...maybe it would be
worth a try to download and reinstall SP2:

Download Windows XP SP2

Generally, users install from the net but this
site allows you to download the complete
file to your hard drive before installing.

It's good for a network administrator because
you can burn it on a CD and install it on as
many computers as you need to.

And it's good for a single machine because
if you ever need to install it again...you'll have
it available without waiting for a download.

If that fails...maybe these links will be useful:

What can I do if I upgrade to Windows
XP SP2 and Windows Movie Maker 2.1
is not installed successfully?

Try changing formats to high quality. It will stop looking for a specific
amount of space. At least it worked for me when I got that.

Also if you have a lot of clips, you might trying saving the project into
smaller sections. Render each small project as movies, then import those
smaller movies into your collections and then join them together and render
the movie from that.
