I tried to inport a little mpeg clip from my P92 Canon
camera. It imported, I could play it, I could add effects
and title frames but it wouldn't save. I have enough
space, the name conforms to the standard, the imported
file hasn't been relocated or renamed--I have covered all
bases. (I am not a MS newbie, although I am new to Movie
Maker.) I have rebooted, tried to create other movies, but
all to no avail. I tried to load Movie Maker 2 and it says
that I must have a Microsoft Windows XP environment. Which
I have (XP Pro). What is wrong? I would really like some
help. I have had no problems with other programs! (PS I
have 1 GB of memory, 50GB free HD space, no other system
problems.

I need to make a revision to my previous post. I can save
the project fine, but I can't save the new movie itself.

I got the same problem after updating movie maker using
windows update. i even downloaded MM2 setup file and
tried installing again. Still I got the same problem as
the person who made this.
SPecs: 12.5 GB free space, Win XP Pro. Also windows said
somethin about activation but i think i fixed it coz it
says windows is activated.

I do have the same problem.
Did you make any progress?
