Can't save documents.

I have windows XP home edition on our computer. We have
3 users on the computer. One of the users is unable to
save word documents. When they try to save a document
the save dialogue box does not show up. When we close
the document we do get the message do you want to save
this document. When we say yes to save, we are still
unable to save the document. Can you help.
 
With the affected user logged in, try repairing Word (or Office if Word is installed through MS Office). This can usually be done through the control panel, add remove programs, highlighting Word/Office and clicking the change/remove button.
