can't safe jpgs in IE6

Hi.
On a computer running win xp pro, I have the following problem with
IE6. Whenever
I try to save a jpg graphic from the web, I can only safe it as a bmp
file.
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue and restore the ability to
safe the graphics
as jpg files? I've tried removing all temporary internet files, but
that didn't make any difference.

Ok, sorry, thanks for the quick response.
 
If that .jpg file is removed or missing from temporary internet files folder, it
can only be save as bmp file.

Ah ok, so for some mysterious reason, IE was unable to put it in the
temp internet files
folder and that's why I was unable to save it as a jpg. Anyway, now
that I've moved the temp internet files folder, things are working
properly again.
