When I bring up My Computer and right click on drive A D or E nothing

know why this is happening.

This may be caused by software that is running in the background and
conflicts with the Windows Explorer. See "How to Troubleshoot By Using
the Msconfig Utility in Windows XP"
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=310560) and "How to Perform a
Clean Boot in Windows XP" (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=310353)
for more informations about how to troubleshoot this problem.

Three days ago, one of our computer club members contacted me on the same
problem. I installed the McAfee Stinger virus & worm removal tool and struck
a goldmine. At the end of the scan, the report showed:
Number of clean files: 44230
Number of infected files: 612
Number of files repaired: 19
Number of files deleted: 601

Stinger is available from: http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/

For additional portection, I installed Firefox browser, Ad-aware SE, Windows
XP Service Pack 2, and turned on Windows Firewall. The next day she purchased
and installed a router/firewall.
