Hi,
After running update last night, the display's running on the lowest
resolution and 4 bit colour, and will not reset no matter what I do. Any help?

I'm running XP Home Edition v2002 service pack 3 - any more info you need,
let me know

This is caused by a new video driver update. Go to device manager and click
the properties of the display adapter and choose the driver tab and click
roll back. This should correct the problem.

Hi,

I did this, assuming I did the right thing it came up "no driver files have
been backed up for this device. If you are having problem with this device
you should view the troubleshooter information. Would you like to launch the
troubleshooter? Yes/No"

Is this expected, and should I be clicking yes?

Right, I ran troubleshooter anyway, went through every process and it came
back 'you've run into a problem troubleshooter can't fix' - any suggestions?

You might try running System Restore and take your computer back to a
time when things were right.

Problem: you will have to run WU again... be careful NOT to install
any hardware updates.

It the above doesn't work... you will have to go to your computer
manufacturer's website and get the most recent drivers. If you've
installed a video card that didn't come with your computer, go to that
manufacturer's site and get the most recent drivers.
