I just upgraded me NT domain to Active Directory. The
name of my domain is 1stofgod.com. The name of my web
site is 1stofgod.com now I can't get my web page to
display from inside my network. I know I need to add a
record to DNS but I don't know which record. My web is ip
is 65.28.54.8 I can't get my web to display using the ip
eaither. Any ideas how to fix this?

use the DNS snap in, expand the server name, expand Forward Lookup Zones,
open 1stofgod.com Forward lookup zone, right click in the zone, select new
host, in the name field type www put the IP 65.28.54.8 ion the IP address
field then click create host.

If you want to access it by just typing 1stofgod.com in your address bar it
can be a little tricky. That requires a blank host with the website IP,
Domain Controllers already create a blank record for all IPs physically on
them, this record is necessary for group policies. The best work around for
that is to install IIS on all DCs, then create a Website for 1stofgod.com
then on the home directory tab select redirection to a URL and put
http://www.1stofgod.com in the redirection field.

Okay, if you can't get it to display with just the IP, it isn't a DNS
error (or at least it's more than just a DNS error). If we knew what
"can't get my web page to display" actually meant, we might be able to
point you to a better answer.

If it does not load the page with its IP it most likely means that the web
site is using host headers. Websites using host headers will not load with
an IP address.

They will if the host header is the IP address... :)

But I'll qualify my answer to begin with "If you're not using host
headers..."
