Hello,
I created a scheduled task, which works fine.
I created a copy by ctrl-drag; it's default
name is "Copy of OriginalName". I tried to
rename it, but an error message tells me that
"Access is denied". I am using a nonadministrator
account.
I tried to solve the problem by changing the
permissions on the security tab of the properties
for that task. First, I tried erasing the
existing permissions. I was warned that only
the owner (me) can re-give permissions to the
task. Fine, I could do that. Unfortunately,
I can no longer open the properties panel for
the task after removing all permissions. I can't
even delete the task.
How can I reset the permissions to what they
were? And then, what kind of changes to those
permissions would allow me to rename the task?
Thanks.
Fred
