can't removing directories from sdcard

Hi there,

I've got a sdcard for my pda and there is a directory 'mydir' where it has 3
othere directories in there where the directory names are funny characters.
By that i mean if you ever open a exe file in text mode then you see all
those funny characters.

That's what the directory names are and the problem that i have is that i
can't delete 'mydir'. I'm not sure how those other 3 directories got on
there. But whenever i try to delete i get an error popup saying

Cannot delete file : Cannot read from the source file or disk. [OK]

So how do i get rid of this directory???

First remove the card and see if the small switch on the side is set to
Lock; unlock it. Second, from the Palm card services, Format the card.
