I have 3 IDE hard drives that are running in a testbed Windows 2003
member server. I convert disk 1 and disk 2 to dynamic disks. I wanted
to remove either of the disks and install them into a different
machine. The disks were being mirrored, I broke the mirror and they now
have one simple volume on each disk. I tried to right click the drive
and select "remove disk" but the option is grayed out. Am I doing
something wrong?? Do I have to unistall the drive first??? Any help
will be appreciated.

Thanks

Try reading up on dynamic disks. There are lots of restrictions. You may
have to clear and start again.
Mike.
