I can't remove a downloaded scene that was used as
wallpaper for the Desktop. I've changed themes, displays
and even removed the downloaded file from the harddrive.
On booting up, the standard XP wllpaper loads until the
desktop icons appear, then the screen flicks and the
deleted picture is there again. Where is the image file
hiding? How do I get rid of it for good?
Thanks

Hey George

Try rightclik on your desktop, choose Properties/Desktop/Customize
desktop/Web and see if you have a Webelement which you recognize as your
downloaded theme, and delete it.
And try a search on your drive for files with extention .scr and see if you
find the downloaded file and delete it from here as well. (Desktop themes
are in the folder (c:/Windows/system32)

If Sparkie's response doesn't resolve the issue, try using System Restore to
take you back to a time prior to when this began. Start\All
Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.
