I have a problem removing the borders from a huge table in a file that
was originally produced with Word.

The table was "converted" to FrontPage simply by pasting the whole
table into a new file. I need a table with no borders. The same method
has worked OK with other tables.

Any ideas?

Try right-clicking on the Table in Design View and set the border value to 0
(zero).

You may need to go to each cell and tell the style that you want no borders.
I have found that sometimes the borders are turned on for each cell and can
not be removed by turning off the border for the table.

That's part of the problem. The cells have the style, borders set to
none but the preview buttons in the Borders dialog are still set. If I
manually switch them on and then off they reset as expected. The table
has hundreds of cells so I was hoping to avoid all the work. There
seems to be a limit on the number of cells that can be changed at the
same time.
