We are using Outlook 2003 with Exchange Server 2003 and have a user with a
recurring appointment on his calendar that will not go away. If you double
click it, you get "Can't open this item." If I view the calendar by
category or some other list-type view, I can't delete it there either, but I
can see that it has the icon like a recurring meeting, but no recurrence
pattern. I think it may have been originally scheduled by a user that no
longer exists, but I can't be sure. If I try to delete it (must use edit ->
Delete, right click does nothing), I get "The item could not be deleted. It
was either moved or already deleted, or access was denied."
