can't remember password & locked out, I'm the only admin.

I have blocked my children from downloading anything, however I have
forgotten my password & cannot get into any of my files.

er... password to where? if you'v got some gizmo on the pc that sets
priveleges etc to user profiles.... and it needs a password to get
into to reset those settings -and you CAn get into Windows ok....and
the net, run a search for "password recovery" tools/programs... you
migth have to buy one.. but one I used a while back was good - just
can't recall the name of it.. but in trial mode it recovered only the
first 4 or 5 characters of the passwords in use on the pc - that in
itself might be enough to jog the 'ole memory and let you remember it.
