cant recieve or send emails

For some reason I can't send or recieve emails with the new windows mail. I
have everything set up like it is supposed to be. Shortly after setting up
the account I could do things but now I can't.

Any error messages? A few more details like that would be helpful.

No we are not recieving any errors. It just runs through like it should, but don't do anything else like send or recieve mail.

Please don't type after the >'s, those are replies to previous posts and
makes it easier to follow the thread.


First, try deleting the mail accounts, close Windows Mail then restart the
computer. This way the accounts are out of the regisitry as well.

Once restarted, add the accounts back and test.

Thanks Brian. Got it working. Had something to do with entering my password

in accounts, properties, server. I had to check "remember password" first
then enter my password. When I tried to enter the password first then check
the remember box is when the problems started....go figure. Thanks again.
