Can't receive or send mail

Hi,

I'm using Outlook 03. I'm on dial up using Earthlink as my provider. I
have a web site and email address being hosted by another company. I'm
trying to use Outlook to manage my email. The hosting company has given me
the incoming and outgoing mail servers along with my login and password, but
it doesn't work. They can't seem to figure it out.

Is there anyone who has struggled with this before that may have some tips
on the settings? Thanks
 
Earthlink likely requires you to use their SMTP server - they do for all
dynamic IP addresses and dialup is dynamic.

If it's properly configured, collecting email should work - if it doesn't
verify the server names are correct. What errors do you get when you try?
