I just got office 2003 and while downloading it, it changed my email account.
When I tried to set it up using POP3 it said I did everything correct but I
am getting an error message:
Task 'POP3.embarqmail.com - Receiving' reported error (0x80040900) : 'The
server name you entered can not be found on the network (it might be down
temporarily). Please verify that you are online and that the server name is
correct.

I know I am online so what else could it be? What exactly is my server
nameand how can I fix this problem?

I made that change and now when I run a test i get this error message:
send test email message: outlook could not logon to the outgoing mail server
(SMTP). The prpoblem could be the server name, youre server may require
authentication, or your server may not support SSL. Verify authentication and
SSL options under more settings.

I looked under more settings but I am not sure what I am looking for.

Re-check your ISP instructions to ensure that they do NOT want you to use
SSL.
