Can't receive attachments using OE 6

I just bought a new computer with WinXP and OE 6. When I
first started OE, a message popped up saying that there
were patches for it that could be downloaded. I read
through them and installed them. Now, I can't receive
attachments, but I can't remember which patch did this.
Any help as to how I can remove the patch that did this?

Your security level is set too high. Tools, Options, Security, Do not allow
attachments..... (remove the check mark).

follow the path above and it should take care of your problem.
