Can't Read Thumbnails & Some HTML Pics

A friend directed me to his site where I cannot see the
thumbnails he has posted. I'm the only person who cannot
see them. Also, when I get my email from Yahoo that
advises on cool sites, I no longer see the thumbnail or
links to the sites - just the description of the sites.

How can I fix this problem?

The only artwork I can see is the "Painting of the Month".

Hello Dee:
Go to www.pcpitstop.com and let them run a scan of your
computer (I'm not sure but I think that has something to
do with active X)
