What I want to do is, to switch Hotmail to Outlook, or any other MSN
mail but can't do it, because I can't find any other choice, or at
least, I don't know how. I'm using MSN.
I don't want Yahoo,gmail or Verizon.
PS: I would not be switching if Hotmail was working right.
You seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of e-mail.
Hotmail is web-based e-mail. That is to say, you read it in a web browser,
such as Internet Explorer. The same goes for Yahoo and Gmail.
Outlook is an e-mail client. That is to say, it is a program you install on
your computer that you configure to receive and send e-mails. It does not do
that by itself - Outlook doesn't "come with" e-mail, you have to set it up
with a service of some sort. While Outlook can perhaps be set up as a client
for your Hotmail account, the two are different beasts. (Is that perhaps
what you mean when you say "switch Hotmail to Outlook"? As in, "route
Hotmail to Outlook".)
Outlook is not free, it is part of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
Outlook Express is a different program altogether; it comes as part of the
Windows XP operating system. I mention this because time and again people
say one when they mean the other.
Can you set up your Outlook with the e-mail details your ISP provides?
Alternatively, you could try and fix the problems you are having with
getting Hotmail to work properly. I can't remember what you said they were
and you've snipped out that part of this thread's history - something about
attachments, but your subject says "emails".... TaurArian provided plenty of
links to help with that, anyway.
Failling that, try doing your own research on fee-paying e-mail accounts
with Google [other web-searching engines are available]. How do you know
that you don't want Yahoo, Gmail or Verizon?
