I cannot read CD’s that have been created from a Windows 98 machine. This is a big issue from me since my backup files from work are saved on a CD and then used at home. What can I do to fix this problem?

Perhaps they were burnt with >InCD< or >DirectCD<? If so install on your
home PC.

This did not help. Any other suggestions?

They are CD-R and Direct CD was used. I deleted Direct CD off when that would not work and purchased and installed Burn & Go. It does not work either. It was created on a Win 98 machine and I am using XP.

CD-R data cd should read without any additional software - can it be
read on another computer?
