All the CD-RW I created before installing XP are now
having errors. Sometimes I can see SOME of the files,
sometimes none. I browsed the KB and it looks like the
CDs have been damaged. How do I recover my data. Is this
an XP thing? HELP!

Install your DC-RW packet writing software, latest update.
It could be Easy CD Creator (you'll need at least version
5.3.5) from www.roxio.com or InCD or whatever you have.

Don't rush to update your UDF driver or CDRW software.
Try reading your disks on another machine with CD-ROM. Some drives don't like CDRW disks.
This problem can be caused also by bad cdrw media, or bad writing software, or wrong writing parameters (speed too
high).
If you have something precious on these disks, data recovery specialists can help.
