When I purchased my computer from Dell, it came with
Microsoft Word. I had a crash and had to re-install all
materials to my computer, but it won't let me re-install
Word. I get a message saying my authentication code is
incorrect, but it let me add Word using the same CD to my
alternate computer in a backroom, when I got this one. So
why won't it let me add it to the computer it came with?
Thanks for any help you can offer.

If the CD of Word came with the PC, it's limited to being installed and
activated on a single PC ONLY. You need to get another copy of Word for
installation on your second PC.

Nola;
Take it off the backroom computer and put it back on the original machine.

When do you get this message?
Before you install or after installation when you try to activate?
