can't publish

I keep getting a 'server error: write error', and it
refers to a picture file that has a naming format of
xxx.jpg.tmp. The strange thing is that there is not
*.jpg.tmp file in my web. ???
 
Contact your host to run a check on the extensions and/or check permissions
for your account.
