Can't print to USB but can to LPT from third party software

I am needing help to capture the LPT1 printer port for a
third party software to print to a network printer. The
third party software is not able to print to a network
printer but can print to LPT1 or 2. With old windows you
could capture the port. Can someone help.

Try to look up the command "net use lpt1:" in the help system
