I have Windows 2000 Professional and have loaded all of
the patches. Last week, a problem started where I can't
print from my browser or outlook express. I can print in
any other program. When I try to print from the browser
or outlook express, nothing happens when I click the print
option. There are no existing print jobs listed either to
purge and just to be on the save side I have selected the
purge option but this has not solved this problem either.
I have mutiple network printers and one connected directly
to this computer and all of them have the same problem.
Do I need to reinstall Windows or certain program files?

I ran into this problem but I also had lots of other issues with XP where some functions went dead. I ended doing an XP repair to solve all of the issues. I was at my wits end. It sounds drastic but I couldn't find any individual fixes for all the issues I had. The re-installation ran through the re-loading all of the drivers including my NIC card, video and etc. This corrected every issue I ever had since the XP corruption began about 3 weeks ago. You'll need your original XP CD to do this. You'll have to go into setup and set to boot from you CD drive where your XP CD will be inserted. After you boot from the CD, you must follow all the steps. It may take about an hour or so and three re-boots. Do this only if you feel comfortable enough with attempting it. Good Luck
