The full image displays nicely in the browser, yet only
the first page of it will print out. I have tried saving
it in Paint Shop Pro, exporting it to Word, played around
with many options, all to no avail. Any suggestions?

Hi,

An image has no such thing as "a first page". The image can be too big to
print. Another possibility is that you are talking about an animated GIF.

In both cases Irfanview can help (www.irfanview.com): it can resize images
before printing, and it can extract the frmes that compose animated GIFs.

Kind regards

Actually, the image is a black and white trail map, which
shows great detail on the web, but when I print it out, it
CROPS out any part of the image that cannot fit on the
FIRST page, as it will ONLY print out ONE page. If only I
could get it to print out on MULTIPLE pages, then I'd be
able to view the entire map image.

The file itself is not big, it's just that the PICTURE
spans across several pages. Hope this makes it more
clear. I saved it as a JPG but the same thing happens when
I try to print it out in Paint Shop Pro 7. I even tried
pasting it into Word, and I still cannot get it to print
in its entirety. I've seen this problem posted, but no one
has yet posted a simple solution.

If anyone can solve this problem, I'd really appreciate a
direct email to above address,
(e-mail address removed), but please don't forget
to delete the DELETETHIS from the address (to avoid spam).
Please also post answer to this newsgroup to benefit
others.

Thanks, Susan
