As per an example I created a batch file with the following line:
DIR %1 /O >LPT1:
I placed the file in the SendTo folder but nothing happens when
I right click a folder PrintDir.bat which is the name of the file.

Followed instructions for Vista. Got ;lost at 'Enter a command for the name
of the new subkey.
Haven't the foggiest what that means. So, I placed cmd in the subkey and put
Printdir.bat in the
Value Data.
When I select Print Directory from the context menu I get:
'The file doesn't have a program association with it for performing this
action.
Create an association in the Set Associations control panel.
I haven't the least idea what that means. I've checked Control Panel and saw
no icon for
Set Associations. Spelling is correct.

Also, can someone please figure a way to copy and paste system messages???
This is getting old.

Good reply.

Can't understand why, ever since the introduction of Windows, it has never
occurred to the the M$ geeks that users might need to print out a list of
what they've got on a disk.

Is this function available on Windows 7 or whatever it's called?
